CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ProgSys versions 0.151 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
phpdns basedir parameter. This is a result of a PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in the includes/pear/Net/DNS/RR.php file.Recommendations
For ProgSys versions 0.151 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
includes/pear/Net/DNS/RR.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the phpdns basedir parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
