CVE-2006-4962

CVSS v2.0

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Php Blue Dragon versions 2.9.1 and earlier
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) sequence via the phpExt parameter. For example, an attacker could execute PHP code in a log file.
Recommendations For versions 2.9.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the pbd engine.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the phpExt parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
