Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
path[docroot] parameter. This can be exploited by providing a malicious URL, potentially leading to the execution of arbitrary code on the server.Recommendations
For Comdev CSV Importer versions 3.1 through 4.1, consider disabling the
include.php file until a patch is available.
For Comdev Contact Form version 3.1, restrict access to the include.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
For Comdev Customer Helpdesk version 3.1, avoid using the path[docroot] parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
For Comdev Events Calendar version 3.1, Comdev FAQ Support version 3.1, Comdev Guestbook version 3.1, Comdev Links Directory version 3.1, Comdev News Publisher version 3.1, Comdev Newsletter version 3.1, Comdev Photo Gallery version 3.1, Comdev Vote Caster version 3.1, Comdev Web Blogger version 3.1, and Comdev eCommerce version 3.1, restrict access to the vulnerable module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
