CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SyntaxCMS versions 1.1.1 through 1.3
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. This can be achieved via a URL in the init path parameter to "admin/testing/tests/0030 init syntax.php", or an unspecified parameter to "admin/testing/index.php".
Recommendations For SyntaxCMS versions 1.1.1 through 1.3, consider disabling access to the "admin/testing/tests/0030 init syntax.php" and "admin/testing/index.php" scripts until a patch is available. Avoid using the init path parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
