CVE-2006-5149

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions OpenBiblio versions prior to 0.5.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal vulnerabilities. This can be achieved by including a .. (dot dot) in specific parameters, such as the page parameter to "shared/help.php" or the tab parameter to "shared/header.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 0.5.2, update to version 0.5.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "shared/help.php" and "shared/header.php" files to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the page and tab parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
