CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
BytesFall Explorer (bfExplorer) versions 0.0.7.1 and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the
username ($User variable) to "login/doLogin.php" and other unspecified vectors.Recommendations:
For versions 0.0.7.1 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "login/doLogin.php" endpoint until a patch is available. Avoid using the
username variable in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
