CVE-2006-5626

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: phpFaber Content Management System (CMS) versions prior to 1.3.36
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, probably via arbitrary parameters in the query string. This can be demonstrated with a vigilon parameter.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 1.3.36, update to a version that includes the fix, noting that earlier downloads of 1.3.36 may still contain the vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the htmlarea.php file in the cms images/js/htmlarea directory until a patched version is available. Avoid using arbitrary parameters in the query string for the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
