CVE-2006-5985

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Extreme CMS versions 0.9 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the bg1, bg2, text, or size parameters in the admin/options.php file. This can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
Recommendations For Extreme CMS versions 0.9 and earlier, consider restricting access to the admin/options.php file until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the bg1, bg2, text, or size parameters in the affected file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
