| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
AntiHook version 3.0.0.23
Description
The issue allows local users to bypass the product's controls on a process by spoofing the
ImagePathName, CommandLine, and WindowTitle fields in the Process Environment Block (PEB). This is possible because AntiHook relies on the PEB to identify a process.Recommendations
For AntiHook version 3.0.0.23, consider implementing additional validation mechanisms to verify the authenticity of the
ImagePathName, CommandLine, and WindowTitle fields in the PEB to prevent spoofing attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to sensitive processes until a more robust solution is available.Fix
