Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
FineBrowser Freeware version 3.2.2
Description
A cross-domain issue allows remote attackers to access restricted information from other domains. This is achieved by using an object tag with a data parameter referencing a link on the attacker's site, which specifies a Location HTTP header referencing the target site. The content then becomes available through the outerHTML attribute of the object.
Recommendations
For FineBrowser Freeware version 3.2.2, consider disabling the use of object tags with data parameters until a patch is available to prevent exploitation of this issue. Restrict access to external links and Location HTTP headers to minimize the risk of accessing restricted information from other domains.
