CVE-2006-7138

CVSS v2.0

6.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle APEX/HTMLDB versions prior to 2.2
Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL by modifying the P LOV parameter and calculating a matching MD5 checksum for the P LOV CHECKSUM parameter in the wwv flow utilities.gen popup list function of the WWV FLOW UTILITIES package.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.2, update to version 2.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the wwv flow utilities.gen popup list function to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the P LOV parameter in the affected function until the issue is resolved.
