Description A remote code execution issue exists in the Just In Time (JIT) Compiler service, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code via an "unchecked buffer," likely a buffer overflow. This could enable an attacker to make changes to the system with the permissions of the logged-on user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could take complete control of the system, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.

Recommendations For Microsoft .NET Framework versions 1.0 through 2.0, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
