7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WordPress versions 2.0.6 through 2.1Alpha 3
Description The issue allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via an invalid m[] parameter. This can be used to obtain the path and certain SQL information, such as the table prefix.
Recommendations For WordPress versions 2.0.6 through 2.1Alpha 3, consider updating to a newer version to mitigate the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the m parameter in affected API endpoints to minimize the risk of obtaining sensitive information.
