CVE-2007-0302
CVSS v2.0
6.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
InstantASP version 4.1.0
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the
SessionID parameter to the "Logon.aspx" endpoint, and the Username and Update parameters to the "Members1.aspx" endpoint.Recommendations:
For InstantASP version 4.1.0, consider restricting access to the "Logon.aspx" and "Members1.aspx" endpoints until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the
SessionID, Username, and Update parameters in these endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation.Exploit
