Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, either by consuming bandwidth or threads, through the pingback service. This is achieved by making pingback service calls with a source URI that corresponds to a file with a binary content type. Even though such files cannot contain usable pingback data, they are still downloaded, leading to potential service disruption.
