CVE-2007-0900

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: TagIt! Tagboard versions 2.1.B Build 2 and earlier
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in several parameters, including the configpath parameter to various PHP files, the adminpath parameter to other PHP files, and the admin parameter to PHP files in the tagmin directory. This can be achieved through multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities when register globals is enabled.
Recommendations: For TagIt! Tagboard versions 2.1.B Build 2 and earlier, consider disabling the configpath, adminpath, and admin parameters in the affected PHP files until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected PHP files, such as tagviewer.php, tag process.php, and those in the tagmin directory, to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the configpath parameter in the affected API endpoints, such as tagviewer.php and tag process.php, until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
