Description
The issue is related to an integer overflow in the
envwrite function, which allows local users to overwrite certain memory addresses with kernel memory by providing a large n argument. This can be exploited in various ways, such as modifying the iseve function to gain privileges or making the devpermcheck function grant unrestricted device permissions.Recommendations
