Description The issue is related to an off-by-one buffer overflow in the parse elements function within the 802.11 printer code, located in the print-802 11.c file. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by sending a crafted 802.11 frame.
Recommendations For versions 3.9.5 and earlier, consider updating to a newer version to mitigate the risk of a denial of service attack. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
