Description
The issue allows local users to bypass driver protections by guessing the name of a named pipe under DeviceNamedPipeOLE and attempting to open it multiple times, specifically targeting the HKLMSYSTEMSoftwareComodoPersonal Firewall registry key.
Recommendations
For Comodo Firewall Pro (CFP) versions 2.4.18.184 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the HKLMSYSTEMSoftwareComodoPersonal Firewall registry key to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
