CVE-2007-1459

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WebCreator versions 0.2.6-rc3 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the moddir parameter to various files, including 'content/load.inc.php', 'config/load.inc.php', and 'http/load.inc.php'. This enables attackers to potentially compromise the system by injecting malicious PHP code.
Recommendations For WebCreator versions 0.2.6-rc3 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the moddir parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the moddir parameter in the affected files, such as 'content/load.inc.php', 'config/load.inc.php', and 'http/load.inc.php', to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
