Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Microsoft Windows (affected versions not specified)

This could allow remote attackers to intercept web traffic by registering a proxy server using WINS or DNS and then responding to WPAD requests. It has been demonstrated using Internet Explorer. Additionally, DHCP is reported as an alternate attack vector.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
