| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Advanced Website Creator (AWC) versions prior to 1.9.0
Description:
The issue is related to SQL injection vulnerabilities in the MySQL back-end, potentially allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is due to the use of
mysql escape string instead of mysql real escape string.Recommendations:
For versions prior to 1.9.0, update to version 1.9.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the MySQL back-end to minimize the risk of exploitation.
