Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Maian Weblog version 3.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
path to folder parameter in the index.php file. However, it's noted that this issue was disputed by a third-party researcher, as the path to folder variable is initialized before use.Recommendations
For Maian Weblog version 3.1, consider restricting access to the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation, and avoid using the
path to folder parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
