| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
tsdisplay4xoops version 0.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
xoops url parameter. This is a result of a PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in the blocks/tsdisplay4xoops block2.php file of the tsdisplay4xoops module.Recommendations
For version 0.1, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
blocks/tsdisplay4xoops block2.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the xoops url parameter in the affected module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
