Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Berylium2 version 2003-08-18
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
berylliumroot parameter. This can be achieved by manipulating the berylliumroot parameter in the API endpoint, although the specific endpoint is not specified.Recommendations
For Berylium2 version 2003-08-18, consider restricting access to the
beryllium-classes.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the berylliumroot parameter in URLs until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
