7.2

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Backup Manager versions prior to 0.7.6
Description The issue allows local users to obtain the MySQL password by listing the process and its arguments, due to the password being provided as a plaintext command line argument in the lib/backup-methods.sh script.
Recommendations For versions prior to 0.7.6, update to version 0.7.6 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the process list to minimize the risk of exploitation.
