CVE-2007-2960

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Scallywag version 2005-04-25
Description The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the skin name parameter to "template.php" in various skin directories, including "skin/dark/", "skin/gold/", and "skin/original/".
Recommendations For Scallywag version 2005-04-25, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the template.php file in the skin directories to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the skin name parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
