CVE-2007-3078
CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Aigaion versions prior to 1.3.3
Description:
The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. The injection can occur via the
title parameter in authors and publication titles to specific API endpoints: "authoractions.php" or "publicationactions.php".Recommendations:
For versions prior to 1.3.3, update to version 1.3.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "authoractions.php" and "publicationactions.php" endpoints until the update is applied. Avoid using the
title parameter in these endpoints until the issue is resolved.Fix
