CVE-2007-3089

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 2.0.0.5
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to display arbitrary HTML or execute certain JavaScript code by using document.write to replace an IFRAME during the load stage or in the case of an about:blank frame. This can be demonstrated by code that intercepts keystroke values from window.event.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 2.0.0.5, update to version 2.0.0.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the document.write function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
