CVE-2007-3156

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Webmin versions prior to 1.350 Usermin versions prior to 1.280
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the cid, message, or question parameters in pam login.cgi.
Recommendations: For Webmin versions prior to 1.350, update to version 1.350 or later. For Usermin versions prior to 1.280, update to version 1.280 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the pam login.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the parameters cid, message, or question in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
