| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Papoo CMS versions 3.6 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to access the backend administration plugins without proper privilege verification. This enables them to read the entire database by accessing the database backup plugin via a
template parameter to interna/plugin.php with a devtools/templates/newdump backend.html argument. Additionally, they can create plugins, remove plugins, enable debug mode, and potentially have other unspecified impacts.Recommendations
For Papoo CMS versions 3.6 and earlier, update to a version that includes proper user privilege verification for backend administration plugins, ensuring that only authorized users can access and modify sensitive data and settings.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
