CVE-2007-3517

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Claroline version 1.8.3
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. The injection can be done via the PATH INFO (PHP SELF) to various scripts, including "index.php" and "demo/claroline170/index.php", and possibly other scripts.
Recommendations For Claroline version 1.8.3, consider restricting access to the vulnerable scripts, such as "index.php" and "demo/claroline170/index.php", until a fix is available. Avoid using the PATH INFO (PHP SELF) to these scripts to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
