| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
sPHPell version 1.01
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the
SpellIncPath parameter to several PHP files, including "spellcheckpageinc.php", "spellchecktext.php", "spellcheckwindow.php", or "spellcheckwindowframeset.php".Recommendations
For sPHPell version 1.01, consider restricting access to the
SpellIncPath parameter in the affected PHP files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the SpellIncPath parameter in the affected API endpoints, such as "spellcheckpageinc.php", "spellchecktext.php", "spellcheckwindow.php", or "spellcheckwindowframeset.php", to minimize the risk of exploitation.Exploit
