Description:
A buffer overflow issue in Microsoft DirectShow within Microsoft DirectX allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved by sending a crafted WAV or AVI file.
Recommendations:
For Microsoft DirectX versions 7.0 through 10.0, update to a version later than 10.0 to resolve the issue.
