CVE-2007-4043

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Secure Computing SecurityReporter (aka Network Security Analyzer) versions prior to 4.6.3
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to bypass authentication. This can be achieved by using a name parameter that ends with a %00.gif sequence in the file.cgi endpoint.
Recommendations: For versions prior to 4.6.3, update to version 4.6.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the file.cgi endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the name parameter with a %00.gif sequence in the file.cgi endpoint until the issue is resolved.
