CVE-2007-4190

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Joomla! versions prior to 1.0.13
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers and probably conduct HTTP response splitting attacks via CRLF sequences in the url parameter. This can be leveraged for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.13, update to version 1.0.13 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the url parameter in affected API endpoints until a patch is available.
