Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the aid parameter in the index.php file of the SimpleFAQ component. This component can be used in both Mambo and Joomla!.

Recommendations For versions 2.11 through 2.40, consider restricting access to the vulnerable aid parameter in the index.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the aid parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
