CVE-2007-4699
CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Apple Mac OS X versions 10.4 through 10.4.10
Description:
The default configuration of Safari in Apple Mac OS X adds a private key to the keychain with permissions that allow other applications to access the key without warning the user. This might allow other applications to bypass intended access restrictions.
Recommendations:
For Apple Mac OS X versions 10.4 through 10.4.10, consider changing the default keychain permissions to restrict access to the private key. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the keychain to minimize the risk of exploitation.
