CVE-2007-4738

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: SpeedTech PHP Library (STPHPLibrary) version 0.8.0
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in specific parameters to various PHP files. This can be achieved by manipulating the db conf or ADODB DIR parameter to utils/stphpimage show.php, or the STPHPLIB DIR parameter to multiple other PHP files, including stphpbutton.php, stphpcheckbox.php, and others. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not available. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
Recommendations: For SpeedTech PHP Library (STPHPLibrary) version 0.8.0, consider disabling the vulnerable parameters db conf and ADODB DIR in utils/stphpimage show.php, as well as the STPHPLIB DIR parameter in the other affected PHP files until a patch is available. Restrict access to these parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
