Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the box width, PEDIGREE GENERATIONS, and rootid parameters in "ancestry.php", and the newpid parameter in "timeline.php".
Recommendations For PhpGedView version 4.1.1, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters box width, PEDIGREE GENERATIONS, rootid, and newpid in the affected API endpoints "ancestry.php" and "timeline.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
