| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Simple PHP Blog versions prior to 0.5.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to upload dangerous files and execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved by uploading a file with a filename ending in .php or a .htaccess file.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 0.5.1, update to version 0.5.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the upload img cgi.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the upload functionality in the affected version until the issue is resolved.
