Description The issue allows remote attackers to create or overwrite arbitrary files via a full pathname in the argument to the SaveToFile method of the EbCrypt.eb c PRNGenerator.1 ActiveX control in EBCRYPT.DLL.

Recommendations For versions 2.0.0.2087 and earlier, consider restricting access to the SaveToFile method until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the SaveToFile method with untrusted input to minimize the risk of exploitation.
