CVE-2007-5120

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions JSPWiki versions 2.4.103 through 2.5.139-beta
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via various parameters in different JSP files. The affected parameters include group and members in "NewGroup.jsp", edittime in "Edit.jsp", edittime, author, and link in "Comment.jsp", loginname, wikiname, fullname, and email in "UserPreferences.jsp" and "Login.jsp", r1 and r2 in "Diff.jsp", and changenote in "PageInfo.jsp".
Recommendations For JSPWiki versions 2.4.103 through 2.5.139-beta, consider disabling the affected parameters, such as group, members, edittime, author, link, loginname, wikiname, fullname, email, r1, r2, and changenote, in their respective JSP files until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable JSP files, including "NewGroup.jsp", "Edit.jsp", "Comment.jsp", "UserPreferences.jsp", "Login.jsp", "Diff.jsp", and "PageInfo.jsp", to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
