Description
The issue is related to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the AOL AmpX ActiveX control. This can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via long arguments to unspecified methods.
Recommendations
For version 2.6.1.11, consider disabling the AmpX ActiveX control until a patch is available. Restrict access to the AmpX.dll module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
