Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the whattodo parameter of the index.php file.
Recommendations For phphelpdesk version 0.6.16, consider restricting access to the whattodo parameter in the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, avoid using the whattodo parameter with untrusted input until a fix is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
