CVE-2007-5917

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Skalinks versions 1.5 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery issue exists, allowing remote attackers to add arbitrary privileged accounts as administrators. This is achieved via the admin name, admin password, admin type, and Add admin parameters in the admin/admin account.php file.
Recommendations For Skalinks versions 1.5 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin/admin account.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the admin name, admin password, admin type, and Add admin parameters in this file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
