Description The issue allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This is possible because the jar protocol handler retrieves the inner URL regardless of its MIME type and considers HTML documents within a jar archive to have the same origin as the inner URL.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 2.0.0.10, update to version 2.0.0.10 or later. For SeaMonkey versions prior to 1.1.7, update to version 1.1.7 or later.
