VectorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpMyAdmin versions prior to 2.11.2.2
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the convcharset parameter to "index.php" when logins are authenticated with the cookie auth type.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.11.2.2, update to version 2.11.2.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "index.php" endpoint or avoiding the use of the convcharset parameter until the issue is resolved.
