CVE-2007-6135

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PHPSlideShow versions 0.9.9.2 and possibly earlier
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the directory parameter in the phpslideshow.php file. This could potentially lead to malicious script execution on the client-side.
Recommendations For PHPSlideShow versions 0.9.9.2 and possibly earlier, consider validating and sanitizing user input for the directory parameter to prevent XSS attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the phpslideshow.php file until a proper fix is applied.
