CVE-2007-6309

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions webSPELL version 4.1.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via several parameters in index.php, including the galleryID parameter in a usergallery upload action, and the upID, tag, month, userID, or year parameters in a calendar announce action.
Recommendations For webSPELL version 4.1.2, avoid using the galleryID, upID, tag, month, userID, and year parameters in the respective actions until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
